Hamilton West—Ancaster—Dundas () is a federal electoral district in Ontario. History Hamilton West—Ancaster—Dundas was created by the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution and was legally defined in the 2013 representation order. It came into effect upon the call of the 42nd Canadian federal election, on October 19, 2015. It was created out of parts of Ancaster—Dundas—Flamborough—Westdale, Hamilton Centre and Hamilton Mountain. Hamilton West and Earnock is one of the 20 electoral wards of South Lanarkshire Council. Created in 2007, the ward elects four councillors using the single transferable vote electoral system and covers an area with a population of 18,503 people. The ward was previously a Labour stronghold with the party holding half of the seats between 2007 and 2017. Hamilton Maxwell West Santana (born 16 October 1977) is a retired Nicaraguan footballer. Club career West started his career at Masachapa and moved abroad to join El Salvadorans ADET on loan in 1998 and then moved to Costa Rican side AD Guanacasteca in summer 1999 to play alongside compatriot Danny Téllez. After a season with Real Estelí, where he scored 5 goals in a league match against Chinandega, he returned to Costa Rica to play for Osa. In 2003, he signed with Parmalat. In January 2009, West's goal secured second division side Chinandega promotion to the top tier. Hamilton West railway station serves the Hamilton West area of Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, in Scotland, lying on the Argyle Line.
